Bisnis.com, JAKARTA — XLSmart (EXCL), Telkom Group (TLKM)’s Telkomsel, and Indosat (ISAT) have intensified their 5G service rollout in early 2026, in line with the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs’ (Komdigi) target to expand national 5G coverage this year.
Bisnis previously reported that Komdigi is targeting 5G network coverage of 8.5% of Indonesia’s total residential areas in 2026. By the end of 2025, 5G services had reached 6.33% of residential zones nationwide.
