Bisnis.com, JAKARTA — This year’s inaugural retail government bond (SBN) issuance is falling short of expectations. Tepid coupon rates and waning interest from the middle class have hampered overall absorption.
ORI029 marked the opening of the government’s 2026 retail SBN program, with the offering period running from January 26 to February 19. The issuance comprised two tranches: ORI029T3 (three-year tenor) offering a 5.45% coupon and ORI029T6 (six-year tenor) at 5.80%.
