Bisnis.com, JAKARTA —The Indonesian government’s liquidity injection is giving PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk. (BRIS), or BSI, greater flexibility to ramp up its financing expansion through the rest of 2025.
The stimulus, sourced from the government’s surplus budget balance (SAL) and placed with Bank Indonesia, is expected to ease liquidity, bring down the cost of funds (CoF), and spur lending growth at BRIS. As of August 2025, the bank recorded the fastest growth among publicly listed lenders.
