Bisnis.com, JAKARTA — U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated that the OECD/G20 global minimum tax plan, known as Pillar Two, will not apply to multinational corporations headquartered in the United States.

As a result, Indonesia would be unable to levy a 15% corporate income tax on U.S.-based multinationals operating domestically such as Google, Microsoft, and others under the OECD Pillar Two global tax plan framework.
