Bisnis.com, JAKARTA— Gold prices are expected to remain on an uptrend in the final week of 2025 and into early 2026, supported by strengthening safe-haven demand, escalating geopolitical risks, and expectations of interest-rate cuts by the US Federal Reserve.
Commodity and currency analyst Ibrahim Assuaibi said spot gold last closed at US$4,531 per troy ounce, while domestic gold prices stood at around Rp2.62 million per gram. He noted that price movements toward the end of the year may remain volatile, but the overall bias still favors gains.
