Bisnis.com, JAKARTA — Indonesia’s energy security has come under scrutiny as escalating conflict in the Middle East disrupts global oil supplies. The establishment of a national strategic energy reserve is increasingly viewed as urgent, particularly as the country remains heavily dependent on imported oil.
At present, Indonesia does not yet have a national strategic energy reserve (Cadangan Penyangga Energi/CPE) that could be deployed during energy crises or emergencies.
