Bisnis.com, JAKARTA – A number of stakeholders have urged caution, warning that implementing higher minimum public shareholding policy, or free float, to 15% on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) should be carried out in stages.
The Financial Services Authority (OJK) on Sunday (2/1/2026) announced eight action plans to accelerate reforms aimed at strengthening the integrity of Indonesia’s capital market. One of the key measures is an increase in the minimum free float requirement from the current 7.5% to 15%.
